do your best so u dont regret

The weather has kinda improved and i'm feeling so lazy since med and i have stopped waitering.

I'm starting to like jason mraz's songs and i can't wait to go KTV. Its been quite a while.

Thursday, 25th june 2009
After work, we headed down to buy more ingredients for our salad. And we came home to make our salad. This time, we did a better job. Serving was just nice and it tasted nicer. Haha.. Gossip girl after that.

Saturday, 27th june 2009
Moos had piano in the morning and she wasn't feeling well. She hasn't since a few days. DIDN'T DRINK WATER!! TOO MUCH FRIED FOOD!! haha.. But she immediately felt better after eating 2 panadol-flu pills. It often didn't work for me. So anywayz, she went out w ee gongs after piano. And then i went off to work from 6pm-10pm at GV great world city. After my shift, i went down to PS to meet moos and then we came home to watch gossip girl.

Sunday, 28th june 2009
Attended the mass at St Mary's. I hope there will be more to come. We will be going back there more often.. i know... definitely..

Work at 2pm-6pm at GV great world city. Rushed back to pick up moos and then went off to kel's place for BBQ. The food wasn't too bad. And it was a good catch up session as well as jon to intro his new gf to us and get to know us too. I see jon almost everyday at work haha.. we would often talk and slack at one corner. And then moos and i would lunch w jon till our shift ends. haha.. Lunch was always a feast at Geek Terminal.

After dinner, we went up to kel's house to play PS3 and PC (prototype) really cool game which tempted me to get a new comp. haha.. I just sent my graphics card for repair and it should be back in a few weeks. I hope it will be ok. And so i've decided not to get a new comp yet.. Perhaps not this year.. Possibly next year.

Monday, 29th june 2009
Last day of work!! Woohoo. Med, jon and i kena retrenched. Haha.. I'm sure med has got lots to say about this. Today was the most fun day at work since we started there. Working in polo Ts and jeans. Serving customers without uniforms! ha.. Med and i returned our uniforms except for 1 shirt. Looks like its ours alr. haha..

The place had to be packed because they were closing down and shifting the stuffs all to their new place at changi. So good luck to them.

Med, jon and i joined mum and sam for dinner. Bak Kut Teh... at jalan besar. Near Ah boy shop haha.. Speaking of which, i have to get 2 visors and 1 full face helmet. So its time to go bike shopping JJ.. stop lazing ard!!! haha..

Anyway, jon's parents are setting up a bee hoon store at suntec city's terrace fountain food court.. They will be opening on the 1st of july. Do support him if you're at suntec..

Rushed home for Transformers 1. So we wont be blur for tmr's movie.. haha..

Tuesday, 30th june 2009
Med and i went to watch Transformers 2 which was an excellent movie. Super! Better than part 1. But part 1 was still good. Ha..Went for dinner at seah im food centre after that and then to her home to watch tv and beat pappy! haha. pappy just bathed and her fur looks really nice (i have to admit). And she looked quite poor thing when med's dad was cutting her nails. haha oh well. I'd prob send my dog for grooming instead.

When i reached home, i saw 3 men outside of my estate. i think they were looking for durians (there are many durian trees at the back of my estate). At first i was quite angry as they seemed to be loitering there and i didn't feel safe. I almost called the neighbourhood police post but gave it a second thought and i ended up not calling. Haha... Its strange the SAF didn't want anyone to go into the forest and so they constructed a fence BUT they just left it as that.. The police stopped patroling and so did the army. Contradicting.

do your best so u dont regret

Jurong West St 52

I went there once to buy pirated PC games when i was still in Sec sch and once for Chinese new year when my cousins were still living there. And this time, we went there for durians! haha..

Not exactly...

We had dinner first before walking ard.. Porriage with chee chong fun and yam cake... Never had them before but it was nice. Instead of black sauce, they put some red sauce which still tasted nice. We weren't so full until med's mum bought 6 packets of durians.. Sheesh!! We went back to med's place and tried the diff prices of durians. $1, $5 and $20. All were good... But still i'd prefer geylang's.

While walking, we chance upon a shoe shop and i finally bought my lousy slippers which would be used as spare whenever it rains and i'm wearing shoes. The old one broke after 3 years. But its ok, i got it at a super cheap price (below $5). So now i got a slightly more expensive pair at $5.90. haaa.. Good!

So anywayz, i bought 3 durians for $20 and 2 big mangos. The mangos are really sweet. Already QC-ed when med's mum let us try..

Went home for movies after that...

do your best so u dont regret

It wasn't until recently that i realised it. It was hard to accept it. But i had to after seeing it for the past 1 year. It never occurred to me how someone could change so much. To become so selfish, losing moral values and meaning in life. Priorities and focus are still wrong ever since then. They were wrong then, they are wrong now. Sometimes i wonder if it is worth it. Perhaps it doesn't pay to be kind. I try not to be affected but i've always been. Every single day. The thought of it disgusts me and i am utterly disappointed. You've made me see how someone can change so much. Perhaps i thought wrongly of you and this is your native state. Then blame me. I'll hang on till the day i've returned ur kindness and when that day comes, i'll be a stranger unless a miracle happens. Miracles do happen but for now, i'll stick to it.

It was an evening filled with laughter as med and i went out w her fav group for dinner. We went to Pariis international buffet at marina square which i felt could have been better. Somehow, they had shifted from taka; that was the place where i had brought jon, don and kel for lunch on my 21st birthday.

The price was worth for the type of food available. But the variety wasn't a lot. But anyway, the little girl wanted to eat her raw oyster and salmon thats why we went there. The thought of eating salmon really makes me wanna vomit now, because the previous time we had raw salmon, i ate so much of it. But its healthy! its a trade off i guess.

Speaking of trade off, the economy is really getting bad. I'm gonna be hit when i graduate too. Judging from the number of graduates from my course during my year, it may be hard to find a job. Theres damn too many china students around. They really should cut down and provide the locals with jobs first. Can't figure out what the government is thinking. The selection pressure is biased i would say. Only the toughest locals will survive. So, do or die. Nobody will pick u up. Either you do your best and get somewhere, or you do good and dont get anywhere. Ur choice....

And it really starts off with the upbringing process just like what darling and i had talked about. Many dont realise that their character and actions now, depends a lot on how they were brought up. The environment they grew up in. I've said that upteem times to darling and now she finally agrees with me (not that she disagreed).

Its a pity for some but a blessing in disguise for others.

So i will stop here and perhaps give a lecture another day.

i love you darling!

do your best so u dont regret

Its amazing how despicable can some people get. It is all about insensitivity? or is it a lesson that hasn't been taught? I always thought such things were built in. Having the right conscious. It didn't seem to hit hard when the situation had occured. Taking forgranted just because we were always there? It's surprising how selfish can one get. Definitely not to the opposite sex. It isn't just the anything sort. But there are decisions that were preferred but was too afraid to say. The cover of the book is nice. But the contents are... not so nice...The way the book is written, i cannot agree with it at all. Too many "cheats" and there seems to be a lost of integrity. Not to anyone but to the author. There were no feelings of hatred or sadness. Only anger and unjust.

Happy 20th month darling!

21st march 2009
We went to Ubi driving centre for darling's circuit lesson. So damn far. What is the instructor thinking? The place was damn deserted too. Where the hell was the bus stop man. But anyway, we took 2 buses to vivocity and had dinner there where we saw 1 couple in front of us. They didn't talk at all and both had black faces. The bill came and the guy wanted to pay but the lady took out the money first. And then it was silent all the way. We saw 3 guys who looked like japanese and a group of SP students chatting away. THe table beside us ordered coke lemon! sheesh do u know how much they sell it there? i can make my own and sell u half the price! The first impression at HK gary kim was good. But then i started to think, they could do better at a coffee shop. At least they will reach out to the neighbourhoods too. Besides, i bet their cost price is pretty low. And the staff all seem like cheap labour. All sorts of ppl there. Even the manager wasn't up to standard. At a restaurant?!! sheesh!! we had to pay service charge for a manager who spoke softer than the noise of the crowd? hmm i may reconsider going back there only because the food is quite nice. Quite..
Still i miss manhantan's seafood platter for 2 with added moo moo. But i always have to end up eating most of the food because my food buddy (med) is a small eater. Time for a upgrade darling!
We then headed home to watch starsky and hutch. Not too bad. But we were so damn tired after that. must be the journey to eunos.
Btw macho is my future golden retriever's name.. not the white tiger on facebook..

do your best so u dont regret

Valentines day (140209)

Mcgriddles in the morning.

My plans were almost screwed because the deserted clementi Kbox was fully booked. But thanks to med and shihui, we managed to book a place elsewhere.

It was fun singing w the little girl as there was nothign to be shy about. Just throwing my screechy voice all over. Its been a long time since i last sang like that. I kinda lost the techniques since choir days but Its time to get it back!!

We then headed to town and had dinner at the mongolian bbq restaurant. The standard was just bad. Only that the salmon was good and the dessert was really nice. The mongolian BBQ was so so only. Come to think of it, i think the zheng fa steamboat was a better deal and a lot nicer too. Even the then mongolian restaurant (now called the family restaurant at taka) that i brought the guys to, during my birthday was a lot nicer. Nevertheless, we filled our stomachs!! hahaa..

The little girl was satisfied with the fondue, silver fish and her ice cream. The rest didn't excite her much. hahaa..

We then headed back for an early rest... hahaa.. nah.

There was part 2. We headed down to telok blangah hill top park and then to the barrage on my bike. I was actually expecting a windy night, only to realise when we got to these places, it was still. STill like a rock. No wind. And it was so damn humid! What the hell man. Also, the piece of grass patch at the barrage was closed off due to newly laid grass. So lucky, else my initial plan to fly a kite there would have been totally screwed. Blessing in disguise. haha..

Robot city building in progress

Caught her dozing off on valentine's day

The light in my room

Flyer...

The ride home was a sleepy one for darling as she was dozing off behind me. Sheesh!

The first question you're gonna ask me is what did i get for med right?
In fact i got her something valuable. Something more valuable than gold or diamonds. Something money can't buy. Something which will stay in her memory. Something which no one else can buy for her. Something which is valuable to both her and i.

There you go; i gave her my time.

Study break is in 1 weeks time. And dad's birthday!

do your best so u dont regret

Another year has passed.

As the years pass, celebrating birthdays have become meaningless. One day we'll all wish we never remembered our birthdays because we've all grown old.

Whats there to celebrate when im old? to celebrate that im old? Unless you're really old like dad who is above 60 or maybe 70, 80 or 100.

Not only do you start to find it meaningless, people ard you start to feel meaningless too. The meaning of a birthday celebration fades away as years go by and when you ask yourself why do you celebrate your friend's birthday?

"To celebrate lo"

So is it to celebrate that XX years ago you were born? If that is so, then parents will come into the picture.

As for dad, he brought me out for a simple meal. BBQ stingray, chicken wings, veg. But i was happy he didn't forget my birthday (because he forgot valentine's day). And on that day i was really in low spirits but nevertheless, seeing me down, he tried to liven up the mood by joking. It was just a simple act, but i was truly touched.

As for friends, i had a series of wishings one after another from jon, kel, jj, don, mun and xue ling.
The guys and i went out for settlers, dinner and mahjong. The settlers was fun. As always. Dinner wasnt good because we ended up at another restaurant. Mahjong was not too bad. I'm quite crippled in terms of blogging because my phone's cam is kinda spoilt.

Settlers!

Med's fav game

Kel and don

Darling and i

Anyway, the guys had gotten me a shirt which i think, seems to be the latest jap fashion? or something like that. Also, a belt which had a huge buckle. Hmm.. not sure when i'll use it though. The shirt, prob sometime soon. PS - 1 of the buttons fell off alr. @#%@!$ Sheesh!!!!

Thanks anyway for celebrating and the presents too!

No, i havent forgotten about the little girl. Haha.. she came over in the night to deliver my cake and present which i really like a lot.

My present and cake

And then she had to read her story book after that cause i had a quiz the next day.
