do your best so u dont regret

Sentosa today with the little girl.. and indeed i realised she is a little girl..

We arrived at sentosa ard 330pm and the sun was gone man haha.. it was my first time reaching there so late and staying there till night came.

I would usually go sentosa for the sun because the sand is so rough, it makes u injury prone..

nevertheless, it was my first time to sentosa w med and i had fun!

Went down to the water to swim a little, my eyes are so allergic to sea water i didnt put my face into the water.. just my hair. swam ard a while before coming back to play with sand making rubbish out of sand.. haha..

Rain came and we decided to leave.. It took so long for a person to bathe. simply because the water pressure was damn weak.. even weaker than the tap's.. crazy man.. i took almost 15 mins to bathe. minus changing and waiting time. at first i thought those boys were really slow. and then i realised its cause of the water pressure..

Luckily, the bathing time lasted the same time as the rain. By the time we came out of the toilet, the rain had stopped.. so we headed down to the merlion..the scenery was good but i think it wasn't worth the money.. perhaps once in a life time is a good experience.. haha..

Our next stop supposedly was musical fountain. And we asked one of the staffs where it was, he said at the beach station. When we found the place, eventually, we were told it was nothing like the musical fountain and we had to pay an admission fee of $8. Crazy ah!!..

So we headed back to singapore to fill the little girl's stomach..

Seah im.. i love the murtabak.. shiok man hahaa... oh and the unforgettable hokkien mee. This time we tried the teochew fish sliced soup which filled us up man..

It was still early so we decided to sit down at med's void deck for a while. It was unexpected that we were given 2 free tickets to watch "The adventures of two small boys"

It was a damn interactive movie such that the actors and actresses could see us!! And one of the actresses even asked us if we were tua peh kong.. what kind of question is that man...

So anyway, we left before the movie ended la..

Hahaa.. i saw the guy's van parked outside of my estate... hahaa..

do your best so u dont regret

Chris is back in singapore again..

The last time he pissed all of us off by pestering us to go out w him when all of us were busy studying.

This time he was back alone.. it was sad that edna left him because of the same reason.. the same prob they always had.. ANOTHER GUY...

It was tough for them though.. both in the same country but in different states.. too far apart i guess...

And we were talking about how he sacrificed his leave and took a huge risk involving our officer to go to Aus to look for edna.. and now it has all gone to waste.. Such a pity.. but we can't say that at that time he shouldn't have gone.. he did the right thing..

We went down to Vivocity and had Earl Swensens for dinner.. the food was good.. but damn too pricey.. bad place to go (in my opinion). And then we headed down to Starbucks Coffee to chat..

Raymond is struggling in NTU's computer science.. he says he has probs even getting an 2nd class upper. His course must be really tough.. just like jj's...oh and i saw his ESSO/Mobil citibank card... im gonna get that man..

Ang is, as usual, talkative.. always going on and on and on.. non-stop even when i've drifted.. haha.. its time we stop calling him by his surname btw..

Clarence... still the same old him... exaggerating and always talking rubbish (untrue matters).

Leland.. still bothered about his car.. wants to go fast fast fast.. hahaa..

Again, everyone talked about how wasted i was that night at mambo.. how i vomitted on the dance floor and had them carry me back all the way to sqn.. thats the first and last time i'll ever get so drunk..

I wonder when will we ever stop talking about past things which has happened.. we talk about the same things year after year.. but they are funny memories.. spent quite a bit of time laughing in fact..

Just before i left for Vivocity to meet chris and gang, i happen to meet with the guy who parks at my neighbour's parking lot. Each unit is entitled 1 parking lot here.. and any unit who has more than 1 car has to park at the visitor lot.. he was obviously trespassing. It wouldn't have been that bad if he had parked at one of the visitor lots. BUT... he had to park at my neighbour's lot. So it pissed me off so much. I hate to see people getting taken advantage of..

So i walked up to my bike and to my surprise, he was standing there packing his van..

"Do you know u're not allowed to park here? moreover this is my neighbour's lot and u're trespassing. At least if u had parked at the visitor lot it wouldn't be so bad."

He gave me the blur look and looked at me from head to toe..

"But i always park here and ok what."

"No, this is my neighbour's lot. By right u're not allowed to even come in here and park"

"ok ok.. where visitor lot"

"There"

"ok i shift now"

Angrily, i sat on my bike and rode off...

Previously he came with his wife or colleague (i think) and she too parked at my neighbour's lot.. i was so pissed i almost shouted at them from my apartment down to the car park. But dad waved at them! sheesh... was he being friendly? had he not been there, i would have given them a piece of my mind. And u must be wondering why i got so pissed. Yea coming in park only what so what.. thats not only it in fact!

They're drivers. They work for a transport company and this company has their mini-vans parked at a slope beside my estate. So these people came, parked, hopped onto their work vehicles and drove off for a few hours before coming back to pick their vehicle up..

Hello! why not i put my things in your house in the evening and then midnight come collect and then go off..well, that was what they did.. and yes, my neighbours had to park else where. 1 of them parked at a visitor lot and the other at the ambulance lot.. eh.. not logical la..

do your best so u dont regret

Med had to go to sch in the afternoon to register for her module. I decided to go swimming but was quite fed up w my graphics card and jj called to ask me if i wanna go down to sim lim. So i did 20 laps and then headed down to sim lim to meet him. jj almost got cheated by some small boy. Luckily, we found a shop which sold the power pack and graphics card he wanted at a cheaper price. So he saved $40 by not buying from the small boy. Boys these days... tsk tsk...

My old computer only fits AGP cards. ANd i hate ATI man the driver has some prob and its all over the net. That was how my comp had probs previously when it blacked out and i had to get a normal card just to sustain sch's demand. So anywayz, i managed to get a relatively high spec card which could support most games for now.. I realised my old computer had a really powerful power pack which i needed now.. hahaa.. it isn't all bad to keep old things. hahaa..

i had to dismantle the entire CPU and then screwed back every part back on to change out the power pack. And i'm glad it worked haha.. initially i heard a really loud explosive sound when i turned on the computer. So anywayz, the little girl sat beside me and watched me fix up the comp.. hahaa.. i bet she was clueless about everything.. but its ok.. i'll teach u someday..

do your best so u dont regret

Med and i started working on our 2 swans and heart. It took long that i had expected man.. we spent a total of 4 hours working on it. It was really tough but it was worth it..

The puzzle has taught us to be patient and definitely told us that it takes at least 2 to work in a relationship. of course both hands must clap in synchrony and outside help would decrease the puzzle making time. It is so similar to a relationship.

Patience is much needed especially during quarrels. Understanding comes into play definitely and both must think alike or at least along the same line to be psychologically synchronised. Friends and family can play a role. But it isn't necessary because the relationship is between the 2.

We persevered despite the difficulty and eventually completed it.

Dad didn't go out today and so i decided to stay at home to accompany him watch tv, lunch and dinner..

We went out for dinner at teck whye. We had claypot fish head which really sucked man. The ingredients wasn't as much as previously, and the gravy seemed like it was pre-cooked. Dad also said it isn't as nice as before anymore.

And then we walked ard teck whye for a while before going back home.

Its been so long since i ate out w dad.. Hope he'll enjoy himself on christmas day...

do your best so u dont regret

Last min plans had to change.. My sister had an open house at her tuition centre and needed people to help.. so med and i went over to help her.. So many children and boys boys boys... mischevious as usual. I tried teaching 1 of them addition.. but he didn't really catch what i was saying.. was i too chim? or is he not old enough?

he was pulling me everywhere telling me this telling me that. asking me to teach him this, teach him that. And then there was this boy who was my sis's staff's son.. Naughty like hell. Almost whacked him. damn selfish. F***ing selfish. really wanted to knock him out man. i couldn't understand why my sis said he's cute. I cannot agree with it..

I was supposed to do the science side but i didn't know what to say to the parents. n those sci stuffs were so chemistry and physics.. i only had 1 mini-microscope to play w which couldn't even go further that 4X magnification. Not sure whats the occular magnification though. and the slides were all pre-prepared. So i ended up making sure none of the equipment got stolen or were broken by those monkeys..

Besides that i helped to take care of the movie screening room too.

Med was in charge of making bookmarks.. haha.. so funny.. the alphabets were made of macoroni... i wonder if it will biodegrade.. haha..

The macoroni is still intact hahaa.. Anyway, the little girl made these 2 for me.. thanks darling!

Dinner was at kel's house. We had steamboat. One day we should really go down to xian de lai for steam boat. Nevertheless, it was not too bad that night. And then headed down to PS to watch the day earth stood stil. Was damn draggy and the ending was bad.. sheesh i would give a 2/5. Oh yes don, please let me know how much are the tix when u get back from overseas. I think all of us forgot to pay u back. hahaa..

do your best so u dont regret

The first time we went to the zoo, the little girl lost all the pictures..
But, it was a blessing in disguise..
This time we went to the Zoo and we saw more than the first time.. And the weather was just nice.. not hot.. neither was it rainy... the pictures we took were a lot better than the previous one...
So anyway, i met a lot of friends at the Zoo by just saying "BOO!" to the little girl.. and then she went like "ti ti, ger ger, Boo boo" and that became the 3 white tigers' names...
And that was how i met so many friends there.. there was popo, sey sey, ny ny, boon boon, phant phant, ele, bra bra, raffe raffe, tah tah, go go, roo roo, etc....

The journey to Zoo..

On the bus, in front of us was an indian guy who was taking pictures of the scenery that went past us as the bus travelled along mandai road.. It felt like he is a terrorist.. taking pictures of jungles? huh??!!

We managed to take with the baby elephant's butt!

the giant seal

Check out the otter.. they stink like hell.. it says they release anal secretions to mark their territory..

tapir!

thats the biggest white tiger amongst the 3..strong feet..

the warthog sure looks ugly.. and it was kneeling on its 2 front legs most of the time even when it was climbing up the slope!!

i think these are lambs..

check out the big guy balance on a log man..

Outside 1 of the toilets..

there was a small boy who was outside making an animal noise and i thought there was an animal in the toilet hidding behind the bushes only to find out it was him! haha

ah meng!! med was so sad he has passed away..

he was peeping at the female horse next door haha..

he was peeping at this horse.. so white..

there she is with the horse...

i think i subconsciously like stripes..

Nono's butt! can u believe it?

We ended our visit to the Zoo with Ben and Jerry's..

We made our way back to Lot 1 which has changed so much.. It is now an eating centre! haha.. anywayz, we went to the arcade and the aunty there pissed me off... damn rude.. we also played some games at the pasar malam opposite. Then we went over to Gain city to check out the LCD tvs... still quite ex for me huh.. haha.. finally, we made our way to med's place and had dinner opposite her house. Beef hor fun.. and it tasted so good.. definitely gonna go back there to have more of it.. hahaa..

I certainly enjoyed my day and i hope u have had fun..

do your best so u dont regret

My 2nd 21.1km marathon run.

I reached suntec, parked and walked out of the carpark at 630 which was the starting time.. i took 30 mins to walk to the start point and only started at 7am. So i had to time myself to get an accurate timing. I managed to finish the run in 3 hours 11 mins. 20 mins improvement from previous run. The reason was obvious; i had more training than the previous run. With the help of med, i ran and swam a lot before the run. But i felt it wasn't enough to condition my muscles. However, it did help somehow, i didn't feel crampy neither was i suffering during the run because i had tights on except that towards the end my tighs started becoming tight.
Because i started late i started running at the tail of the masses. And i was so determined to get back into the crowd. But the road seemed endless. And i really really think they measured the distance wrongly.

Thats me! haha

do your best so u dont regret

This is the 4th family wedding i've attended this year..

Ivy's wedding was an eye opener. Because it was a combined chinese and malay wedding. Guests were chinese, indian, malay, europeans and peranakans.

There were so many performances which included the malay drum beating thing. Lion dance, chinese tea ceremony, some blessing thing. Even the dresses that my cousin wore were both traditional AND modern.

A funny thing was that my cousin-in-law, who is the malay, said that his malay sucked bad which he admitted to everyone. haha.. it was hilarious when he said it over the microphone. Ivy wore a total of 4 dresses. The first which costs about $4k. 1 of the dresses looked as if it was coated with gold. Sparkling!! hahaa..

She also bought him a rolex watch worth about $29k. Woohoo.. Massive.. Didnt know she spends in thousands. But anyway, the guy bought something back in return which i cant remember, worth $17k.

There were a total of 2 days. The first was the solemnisation followed by dancing and performances lasting for the whole day. And the food was impressive. They never ran out. The staff just kept refilling again and again. People just kept coming in to eat and go off. Madness..

The 2nd day was at velvet underground. Private party from 6pm till 1030pm. And guess what it costs them $25k just to book that place for that tiny bit of time. woohoo!!!
Anywayz, headed down to don's place for mahjong instead. Played a little cause there were too many ppl playing so we had to take turns.. but it wasn't too bad.

So here are some of ivy's wedding's pictures...

Thats ivy and her husband Zul

haha i caught dad giving them his blessings...

And sis too..

So anyway, all of the dresses and the events were planned by ivy and her husband's friends. They had their own logo designed, shot glasses which were designed w their logo and even a paper bag with their logo. Seems like a really well planned wedding.

I didn't give them their blessings like what dad and sis did using some black stuffs and egg and blah blah.. but they definitely have my blessings.

Ivy's a really nice person and i would like to wish her a happy marriage for many years to come. i cant wait to see her future peranakan children. hahaa..
