do your best so u dont regret

Another year has passed.

As the years pass, celebrating birthdays have become meaningless. One day we'll all wish we never remembered our birthdays because we've all grown old.

Whats there to celebrate when im old? to celebrate that im old? Unless you're really old like dad who is above 60 or maybe 70, 80 or 100.

Not only do you start to find it meaningless, people ard you start to feel meaningless too. The meaning of a birthday celebration fades away as years go by and when you ask yourself why do you celebrate your friend's birthday?

"To celebrate lo"

So is it to celebrate that XX years ago you were born? If that is so, then parents will come into the picture.

As for dad, he brought me out for a simple meal. BBQ stingray, chicken wings, veg. But i was happy he didn't forget my birthday (because he forgot valentine's day). And on that day i was really in low spirits but nevertheless, seeing me down, he tried to liven up the mood by joking. It was just a simple act, but i was truly touched.

As for friends, i had a series of wishings one after another from jon, kel, jj, don, mun and xue ling.
The guys and i went out for settlers, dinner and mahjong. The settlers was fun. As always. Dinner wasnt good because we ended up at another restaurant. Mahjong was not too bad. I'm quite crippled in terms of blogging because my phone's cam is kinda spoilt.

Settlers!

Anyway, the guys had gotten me a shirt which i think, seems to be the latest jap fashion? or something like that. Also, a belt which had a huge buckle. Hmm.. not sure when i'll use it though. The shirt, prob sometime soon. PS - 1 of the buttons fell off alr. @#%@!$ Sheesh!!!!

Thanks anyway for celebrating and the presents too!

No, i havent forgotten about the little girl. Haha.. she came over in the night to deliver my cake and present which i really like a lot.

My present and cake

And then she had to read her story book after that cause i had a quiz the next day.
